What information do we collect?
Personal information
We collect personal information such as name, address, e-mail address that you provide is collected in connection with specific activities including campaigns, feedback, surveys, e-mail bulletins and petitions only.
Non-personal information
SOS collects web usage data like numbers and frequency of visitors, pages accessed and files downloaded, in order to determine the frequency visitors use a different part of our site and how many people visit on a regular basis and the usefulness of our pages. This information doesn’t tell us anything about who you are or where you live.

Certain information is needed to provide you with specific services or information. Your personal details will only be used for the purpose in which it was collected. (i.e. Including your name on a petition you have agreed to sign) and/or to provide you with SOS correspondence. The information may also be used to inform you of any changes to our website or update you to our most recent activities. Who do we disclose personal information to?
We may share your information with other members of the SOS network but only in relation to the campaign itself. Occasionally we may make our mailing list available to like-minded organisations when we are working together on a specific SOS campaign initiative.
Where is the information held?
Personal information submitted through the forms on this website is held in our Save Our Seahorses databases.
